This design is an early edition, created according to the original craft methodology of Pierre Chapo. The L01 bed by Pierre Chapo is characterized for its taut, sober design with simple lines and the box joints at the corners of the frame. Chapo designed this daybed in 1959 for the writer Samuel Becket and named it 'Godot', in reference to his play 'Waiting for Godot'.
