Heart cut-out lacquered stained oak table.
Label for furniture manufacturer 'Waring and Gillow', a furniture store considered as a "furniture palace" having a hundred galleries of furnished rooms to view. There were stories on Oxford Street, London, as well as Liverpool, Manchester, Lancaster, Paris, Madrid and Johannesburg. The company fell into decline when Lancaster workshops closed in 1962.
