Artistic Statement
Aythamy Armas is known for his conceptual approach to painting and installation. His work often reflects on identity, displacement, and the passage of time. Using a variety of materials, including found objects, his art blurs the line between reality and fiction. Armas creates evocative visual narratives that challenge conventional perceptions of space and meaning. His work is deeply influenced by his Canary Islands heritage, infusing a unique cultural perspective into contemporary art discourse.
